Single Moms Raising Sons (SMRS) is a ministry under the Christian World Outreach (CWO) umbrella of ministries. Other CWO ministries include work in Burkina Faso, Haiti, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. CWO’s mission is to meet physical, emotional, social and educational needs giving national leaders in each country the opportunity to share the Gospel. In 2020, CWO and SMRS leadership agreed that the ministry of SMRS aligned well with the CWO mission and there would be a benefit to SMRS becoming a CWO ministry. SMRS became a CWO ministry in January 2021. CWO offers years of ministry experience and a platform to raise funds in the US helping SMRS grow as a ministry in South Africa and beyond its borders.
